An adorable yet challenging puzzle game
Humanity is a single-player puzzle game from Tha ltd. that allows you to take on the role of a Shiba Inu, who has to guide large crowds of humans to safety. You’ll be able to push, spin, and lift the human characters in any direction, while also shooting enemies that come your way.
As a platformer game, Humanity requires you to navigate large maps with obstacles and unexpected surprises hiding at every corner. While there is a thrilling storyline to uncover, this game is much more casual compared to titles like Dead Cells and Limbo.
Check out other players’ creations
With over 90 lore-filled levels in story mode, Humanity presents a deeper approach to your typical puzzle games. These story-mode stages vary in difficulty, as well, so you can enjoy more challenges as you progress. The mechanics are quite unique by asking players to lead the way for humans with an adorable pup at the helm. You can also control these humans' actions and directions, as well.
In addition to the aforementioned story mode, players can also play levels created by other users all across the world. You can even create your own maps to share with friends and see who can finish your challenge in the quickest time. With full support for VR devices, you can also opt to play the game in a more immersive manner.
Something to note, however, is that the game does require quite a few things when it comes to your device’s specs. Users should have a 64-bit processor and operating system in order to run the game smoothly, especially when considering the high-quality 3D graphics. They’ll also need a minimum of 8 GB of available storage space in order to accommodate all the game’s files.
Worth the steep system requirements
While Humanity can be quite heavy for lower-specced devices, it’s worth noting that the large amount of playable content and the stunning visuals make it all worthwhile. Not only do you get to enjoy the classic story-mode gameplay, but you can also build your own challenges and rate others’ creations, as well. Not to mention, the support for VR devices allows you to play the game in a new way.
